Barre Lodge and Montpelier Lodge Co-Hosted a First Responder Dinner at our Lodge on September 26. Co-Chairs Patty Ristau and Kathy McNally delivered invitations to police, fire and EMT units throughout the community. Unfortunately, several on-call responders weren’t able to stay for the group photo. Our guest enjoyed a roast pork dinner served by Montpelier Elk Members, and each attending department received a certificate presented by Exalted Rulers Barb Watters (Barre) and Lisa Dilena (Montpelier) . In addition, door prizes were awarded, donated by Ladder One, Blue Cross Blue Shield, members of Montpelier Elks and from each Lodge . Elks are proud to recognize those who serve our communities.
