Barre Elks Lodge Fraternal News

Barre Elks Lodge hosted Pours for Pets, a Vermont made spirits tasting to benefit The Mitzvah Fund, a local non profit organization that provides low/no cost veterinary services to the companion animals of low income seniors, Veterans, the disabled, first responders, victims of domestic violence, and anyone who is experiencing homelessness in our community.

Attendees enjoyed tastings of select Vermont spirits from our sponsors St. Johnsbury Distillery, Mad River Distillers, Smugglers’ Notch Distillery and Bar Hill by Caledonia Spirits all while enjoying an over the top charcuterie board filled with delicious cheeses, salumi, and sweet treats from Cabot Creamery, Vermont Creamery, and Vermont Salumi.
The event raised over $1500 for The Mitzvah Fund, Inc.
