Brattleboro Lodge #1499 Hoop Shoot Champion Olivia Rogers will be competing in the 2024 Chicago Finals on Saturday April 20th at 1:30pm Chicago time!

REGIONAL HOOP SHOOT – DETAILS

 
 
New England Elks Regional Hoop Shoot was held this past Saturday the 9th of March in South Portland, Maine. 6 contestants from Vermont were there competing and they brought home some hardware.

Lincoln Sykes took home the Walter Kettlelle trophy for high scoring boy of the day with a score of 24/25.  Olivia Rodgers took home the William Ferrick trophy for high scoring girl of the day with a score of 22/25. 

Also each shooter received a participation medallion and Team Vermont was awarded the Dick and Cindy Blinn medallions for best overall scores as a team, outshooting all 5 other States. 

Cade Barcomb, Olivia Rodgers and Lincoln Sykes will be headed to the Elks National Hoop Shoot contest in Chicago, I’ll, April 18-21to compete against 11 other shooters in their age groups.

VT ELKS STATE HOOP SHOOT HELD JAN 27 AT SPAULDING HIGH SCHOOL IN BARRE.

Three Island Pond winners in the Vt. Elks State Hoop Shoot held on Jan. 27 at Spaulding High School in Barre,Vt.   Lincoln Sykes, Elsie Kilborn and Jackson Kilborn will advance to the Regional competition in Maine to compete against 5 other contestants from New England to advance to the National competition in Chicago in April.

The Vt State Elks Hoop Shoot gives a trophy to the high scoring girl or boy of the day in memory of Ken McAdam who was always there for the Hoop Shoot. He worked as line judge at the local, district and State contest and a rebounder for the Regional level. His wife was there to present the trophy today for the high scoring shooter. The trophy was presented to Jackson Kilborn who shot 23/25

State Hoop Shoot Results

ST. ALBANS ELKS LODGE HOOP SHOOT STATE RESULTS
The Elk’s State Hoop Shoot was held on Saturday 1/27 at Spaulding High School.  Adelise Consentino finished in 1st place in the State for the 8/9 Girls Division and Keira Habedank finished in 2nd place for the 12/13 Girls Division.  Consentino will now represent Vermont and the St. Albans Lodge in Portland, Maine for the New England Regional Shoot.
